The Skin / 2021
In 2020 we participated in environment festival "Trash Art" raising the awareness of recycle necessity. We were among ten art groups offered to create an artwork to be displayed in one of the shopping malls. "The Skin" is a 15x5-meter art object made of plastic debris in the shape of a tiger skin.
Along with our partners - a team of decorators lead by Sergey "Póga" Pogossyan we did a variety of tests with scrap materials and plastic waste. The palette of the mosaic consists of the colours of the most popular types of household plastic packaging: yoghurts, ice cream, household chemicals, chocolate eggs, drinking straws.
It was a remarkable challenge to find a way to hang 300 kilograms installation on mall's window.
